I've loved knives since I was a kid. Never been much of an EDC type until recently when I became a dad. I always had one in reach, nearby, or in the car. Seems having a little one presents the need to cut things more often than ever lol.
Left section top to bottom:
Leatherman Wave
Leatherman Squirt
Old Leatherman model that I've had for about 15 years.
Middle Section:
Buck 110 - Found by my dad in the road in the NC mountains, 1986 production, beat to hell. I've got another 110 somewhere that I bought about 15 years ago.
Spyderco Paramilitary 2 - Recent within two weeks
ZT350ts - Recent within the week
Kershaw Blur - Had this for about 4-5 years now, love it
Kershaw Cryo II - Had to have it, recent within the week
Kershaw Shallot - Liked the Leek so much I wanted a bigger version, recent within the month
Kershaw Leek - Great drawer knife for the office
Gerber 400 folder that I got about 21 years ago when I was 12 or 13
Right Section:
SAK Classic
SAK Champ with survival case - got this when I was 8 or 9, had it for around 25 years, crazy that it's been around that long
SAK Tinker - Grew up with Macgyver, had to have it. Also got it around my son's first birthday so maybe I'll give it to him when he's old enough.
My collection has expanded recently and keeps going, I'll have to stop soon haha. I've got a ZT0561 in the mail on the way to me now. Would like to pick up a Griptillian of some sort, and then I don't know what.
I'm carrying the PM2, ZT350 and the Cryo II the most, with favorites leaning to the PM2 and the ZT.
I've got a few good chef's knives in the kitchen, a nice Henckels and a Victorinox Forschner. A Rambo III bowie from Gil Hibbon/United, grew up with that too, had to have it lol. And a few gun show specials that I thought were cool that I had to buy for $10. I also find my old random Pakistan made flea market knives hanging around in boxes from when I was a kid. Sadly, I've lost all my ninja stars.
I found a local Spyderco/ZT/Benchmade dealer that I've been popping into from time to time to see what he has stocked. He shares a parking lot with Walmart and my main grocery store, definitely not a good thing!
