Below is a picture of my collection of traditional knives thus far. If any of you are willing to look at what I have and suggest something I might wanna try next I would greatly appreciate it.

Although I don't have a lot of cash, I do have quite a few modern folders/fixed blades I'd be willing to sell/trade. I've included a picture below (I hope that's allowed, apologize if it's not) just to give a reference of my "funds":

I love these two pairings, although I really only carry the smaller ones.

And these are my favorite carry knives, in order from left to right. The one in the middle is a camillus 72 whittler if you don't recognize it:

Thanks for any advice you may have in advance!

Nice group! Next you should pick up a few GEC knives to expand your horizons even more!

Yep. Everyone needs a Barlow. And maybe an Elephant's Toe and a Cigar Whittler.

The Camillus 72 is a wonderful knife. It is one that had all the blades and utility one needs in a single package.

It certainly does, and carries nicely to boot. It's one of the two knives my grandpap regularly carries and as soon as I picked one up I understood why.

Canoe is needed

I've always been temped by canoes because they are such a pretty design, but because they pretty much have two of the same blades I've never pulled the trigger, preferring instead knives with blades that can perform multiple function. But I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Everyone needs a Barlow

Because the barlow is also a design with two blades that are pretty similar I've never pulled the trigger on one either, although I'm temped for the historical reasons. Any recommendations for one that isn't GEC so I don't drop a ton of money on a design I might not love?

You can try a Rough Rider to see if you like the pattern. They have all kinds of cover options, as well.

You are certainly a candidate for GEC's new Pemberton.
I have one in stag and it's like a Case Peanut on steroids.
Yout should also check out some of the 3.5 inchers from GEC.
Maybe the #66 Calf Roper or Serpentine Jack. Both feel great in hand and pocket.

I'd say you got it going on Mr. Cheese! Just hang around and something will "speak" to you soon enough. At least that's what happens to me! :D

Great suggestions, you nailed my taste. I like the looks of all of these. Thanks!

Of course you need a GEC #66 Serpentine Jack (who doesn´t :D ) or a GEC #33 Conductor as you tend to carry smaller knives.

And a Sodbuster/Hippekniep pattern would also fit well in you nice collection. A small Alox SAK (like the Cadet) would also a great job for you, I think.

For sure, there are many others out there...

Good hunt, Sir :)

I would suggest you get some nice mild burley or Half and Half tobacco and try that Missouri Meersham pipe out. I' ve yet to have a bad smoke from a nice old corncob.

Carl.

Of all my pipes that ol' missouri definitely is the best smoker, and was the cheapest. Burley's and virginia's are what floats my boat these days, haven't developed a taste for latakia yet. Cheers!

Humppa the conductor is one of the knives that most attracts me (in a recent 'grail knife' thread it was the one I listed as mine) but they are quite pricey, I just might start selling some of those modern knives so I can afford one though. Thanks for the encouragement!

Nice collection Cheeseiest1!
You could certainly acquire a lot of nice traditions with all the trade/sell value in those moderns!

I'm wondering, what is the Opinel on the left in your first photo?
