Many of you know my husband, MacHete (AKA Bryan). He will be having hernia surgery tomorrow (Monday). Please send prayers, positive thoughts and energy for him.

Thanks so much,
Kat

P.S. I'll let you know how he's doing ASAP

He will be fine. I had two of them. Short operation, he
will feel bad for two days then bounce back. They
usually send you home with pain killers however I
never took any.

Positive Energy sent.

Had one about 10 or 12 years ago.

Thoughts and prayers from MI. I hear knife catalogs help in a speedy recovery. *hint* *hint* ;)

Prayers that he heals quickly. Tie him down for a few days afterward and tell him we are pulling for him.

Thank you all so much for the prayers, smoke, positive thoughts and energy. They sure must've worked because MacHete had kind of a rough go of it for awhile. He had trouble waking up from anesthesia and getting his blood pressure and blood oxygen levels up. As a result, he was in recovery for a looong time.

Originally, the surgeon told Bryan he would be able to go back to work (light duty) the next day. Well, now he's changed that to mid-November at the earliest. In addition, Bryan has to wear a very uncomfortable-looking abdominal corset until then. But he's doing fine and wants to thank all of you for your support and encouragement (me too)! :)
