My idea for a new knife

I'd like to put in a request for a special Spyderco knife. I've mentioned this to a few friends, all of which proclaimed that they'ed be all over one.

My idea is for a Glock edition knife. It would have the Glock Tenifer finish on the blade, but maintain the distinctive Spydy look and operation. I picture a straight edge, drop point blade, but a serrated one would be bada$$ too.

So, what do you think?
 
tboyer - Our legal guru and idea salesman wants to talk to Glock about designing a knife for them. Haven't heard anything recently. If something comes of it, it will probably be aired here first.

pretty sure the application of the Glock coating will trash the heat-treat on the knife.

plus, the coating can't be done in the U.S. due to environmental laws.

maybe you can work around any problems, but just thought i'd be pessimistic.
