Well I have been carrying around one of my first blades for a while. I made it when I was first starting out and I have been carrying it ever since, I just hate to let a good blade sit around. Well I was recently asked by my pastor why I would carry such a mediocre knife when I was making thing that looked ten times better. I replied "its a perfectly good blade even if it is ugly" , said that may not be good for business when I talk to people on the street. He made I good point, so I decided instead of make a new knife I would redo my old knife. I spent Sunday working on the knife, and now I not only have the first EDC I made but now it looks good too. In fact the knife holds even more value to me be cause the handles and made from Micarta that my Grandfather left when he died.
Thanks for looking, I hope you like the improvement. -Josiah.
Before, Bear in mind that the finish and come off and the handles were dicolored and the blade I think had a 100 grit hand sanded finish, before I knew to use WD40. So it was pretty ugly.
