Hi all!

I was searching a new every day carry and SMALL knife for urban area. Most 3-4" blades could be classified as concealed weapon. Ladybug 3's specifications made it look very small but bigger than Leatherman Micra.

So I bought Spyderco Ladybug 3 H1 Salt version with Yellow handles and plain blade.

My main tasks for it: Letter and package opener ( tape, paper, cardboard those nasty plastic wire they use on some packages and are almost impossible to cut regular scissors ) cutting regular IT cables and peel the plastic of them.

Now I should have consulted earlier than I bought it from the states but I am now asking did I bought a good small folder suitable for tasks I intended or is that nice spyderco for collection that is pretty to watch but don't suit my intended work.

but H1 Knife for $36 (including insurances and shipping ) at least I know have knife that is impossible to attain in Finland thru regular importer's and retailers.

I guess I just want to hear that I did not bought trash ^^ (I have weak self-esteem in these things )

As others have stated, you can't wrong with a Spyderco. Great company that makes great products. The Ladybug should do just fine for the tasks you stated.

Welcome to Bladeforums too.

just as the others have said, you really can not go wrong with spyderco. Though i only own one of their knives, i feel that it has been my best knife purchase thus far.

You should feel good about that purchase. Spyderco's carry a great reputation.
