My new toys

Upper - Keiryu (stream) knife for cooking, gutting game, fillet knife.

middle - Sansaigari (Mountain vagetable hunting- foraging) knife for gathering bambo shoot, mushroom, wild plant and friuts.

bottom- Saiku nata (Detail work mini hatchet) - originally a tool for bamboo weaver but could be use for other utility tasks

interesting combo. Do they come in a sheath all together? how would one traditionally have carried the three of them?

I saw they in web site and have the local blacksmith made them They are in different wooden shelths

The Combo shelths that you talk about is call 2 pieces set mostly use by forestery service people in Japan. it is a thick wooden shelth housing a nata (machete/hatchet) and a pistol grip wood saw- I try to find a picture and post it later.

Nata , actually a western billhook knife

Both of them were WWII imprial army machine gun squad gear also farming tools
 
Very cool. Is the Tosa where the Kama came from? What is the size of the first three you posted?
