I think a good first post is to show everyone all of the knives that I've bought in the past 8-9 months, mainly influenced by the pictures and threads posted in this forum. I've been reading a lot and decided it was time to sign up. This forum has had the same effect as the Harley forum that I belong to...it has allowed me to spend every free penny that I have!
It started with a fixed blade knife for hunting. I wanted something real nice so I went with the Bark River Highland Special. It was nice but I quickly ordered the Classic Drop Point Hunter, cocobolo handles in A2, and was shocked to see that the grain, although a little offset, damn near runs perfect throughout the knife. It was so nice that I decided to get another in CPM154 which happened to be from the 1st production run (not sure if they've done a 2nd yet or not) in maroon micarta.

This led to a short buying spree of some other fixed blades, the L.T Wright Hunter Pro Elite (top) being my next favorite after the cocobolo Drop Point Hunter. In order, L.T Wright Hunter Pro Elite, L.T Genesis, the Bark River DPH's and the Highland Special, a Lon Humphrey Muley and a Battle Horse Frontier Valley.

I then began looking at the traditional pocket knives. First one I bought was the Boy's Knife, then went on to get a whole gamut of GEC's, and Northwoods. Got a 79, a couple 92's, a 66, 85 transitional '11/'12, a Beaver tail 48 and the CK SFO 48. Northwoods are the small stockman, Forest Jack, Hawthorne and a Indian River Jack.

Picked up some SAK Alox's (pioneer and electrician) and also along the way, getting a couple of the soldiers for a good deal on the big auction site. One is a Vic the other a Wenger.

Then of course I have a few oldies, a Schrade+ 705 Uncle Henry, a Kabar 1019 and a Schrade Walden 834.
