My introduction!

Hey everyone,

Just getting around to introducing myself and if I may say so, what a great forum you have here! My list of EDC’s is growing with every post that I read. My first EDC was a Buck 110 that I bought sometime in the mid 70’s. I first discovered the knife while stationed on-board the USS Bennington CVS-20 in the late 60’s as it seemed like all of the boatswain’s mates were carrying them. So I purchased one and carried it for several years while working as a motorcycle mechanic. Unfortunately it was stolen so I purchased another one which I still have. I now work in an office and my current EDC is a CRKT Drifter G10, which is perfect for cutting up an apple while not making people nervous. Again thanks for all of the info I have picked up so far.

Welcome aboard! Hard to go too far wrong with a Buck 110. Just beware, the forum can get very expensive! :)

Welcome, Harry, and thank you for your service. You'll find lots of good info here - from the sober and, possibly, from the inebriated as well... hahaha!

Yessir! I am well known for talking outta my arse.

I threw my boss out a winder and got fired from my last job,
Hot-wired a city truck and turned it over in the Mayor's yard,
Well I beat my brothern-law half to death,
I lost twenty bucks on his football bet,
But other than that I ain't nothing, just a good ol' boy!
 
Too many knives and not enough allowance to buy them all and it seems I run across another one whenever I read another post. Just ordered a Oponel #8.
