I've had my Nano less then a month. One of the ear buds crackled a bit for a day or two and is now dead. I bought it online (Amazon) while visiting family in America (I live in Europe). Can I just bring it into an Apple retailer with a receipt and get a replacement. Something tells me it won't be that easy.
