My J.S. performance blade

Well here she is my J.S. performance blade. it is forged out of 5160. the handle is wrapped with plastic twine string and then covered with rubber dielectric tape feels really good in the hand. I made two did the performance test myself today seemed to perform really well now lets keep our fingers crossed for this weekend i will be doing the performance test at Josh Smiths at the hammerin this friday.

Thanks Kevin, I am starting to get a bit nervous, but i am sure not as bad as i will be waiting outside the room at BLADE next year.
 
Good luck Erik! Not a doubt in my mind. When are you going to do the test? Are you going for it in front of the whole crowd, or more privately? I feel right along with you....stepping up to that rope for both my JS and MS were about a nervous as I've ever been.....and both those times where were only a couple of people present.

doing it in front of the people who will be there friday night.

I am laughing a little that you took the time to hand sand the blade, but then did the twine and tape handle :p ;) :D

yeah yeah i caught heck for that one from wade colter as well.

I thought that I showed you a proper test knife handle. Oh yeah I have the rope and the wood.

Gee Josh I only have about four hundred feet left but I'll see if I can spare some:D Next you're gonna want me to bring some flux and im down to maybe 10 11 tons of that.:o
