I was playing around with stag handle scales for my Kabar Becker BK 14 and had a good time doing it and wanted to practice some more. At $35 a pop I couldn't quite bring myself to buy more 14s for practice, but I found the little JAB piggyback fixed blades for under $10 I decided to go for it. I was a little more patient with the dremel making the holes for the nuts on these than I was on the 14 and they turned out real nice. I put a wicked edge on this cheap little knife and am excited to play with it a little. I know the steel on these isn't the greatest, but pretty fun little inexpensive toy.

Great job! I was thinking about putting some slabs on mine, but nothing this nice.

Looks like my remora but with stag instead of black micarta, where'd you get the screws from? I'm becoming interested in doing some removable scales.

This is a very nice mod and makes that knife look 100x cooler! Congrats!

Just bought a little pack of hardware at Lowes, measured for length and cut with the dremel, added some locktite and called it good.

Very Nice! That little thing is a razor! I never wanted a Remora, but I do now. As nice as the Piggyback is, the Remora is made in the US.
