A few months ago I was lucky enough to pick up an All Purpose knife in A2 and York Gum Burl from Mr. O'Neill here in the maker's "for sale" forum. I was impressed with the construction and overall feel of the blade so I got in touch with Jack [I don't think he likes to be called Mr. O"Neill] and asked if he'd consider taking this model and stretching out the blade to a small seax size. He agreed to take on the project and these pics are of the final product.
Full tang, overall length is 11-1/4", blade is 6-1/2" ATS-34 stainless, heat treated and cryod to 60rc, and is hollow ground, satin finished. Handle scales are stabilized maple burl with stainless pins and the balance is right on the ricasso. The knife is extremely sharp and handles beautifully. It also came with a custom leather belt sheath.
I have seen other examples of Jack's work, he's very versatile and I highly recommend his services and products.

Ditto. I have 3 of Jack's knives and will use him exclusively on any future customs I have made.
