My Jalmomo Monster Lanny's Clip is ready!!!

Around the end of March I discovered a custom knife maker on Instagram by the name Pepe Jalomo. He makes some sweet looking slip joints and I've been wanting to get one. Of course I only new of Enrique Pena as the "go to" slip joint maker but his wait times are still ridiculous so of course I jumped at the opportunity.

He calls it the "Monster Lanny's Clip". I spec'd it out as follows:

Bolstered
Carbon Fiber Scales
Red G10 Liner (with matching lanyard bead)
Harley style shield on scales

I got the an email yesterday that its ready and I couldnt be more pleased with the pics!

The best part is that he makes smaller versions of the same knife so I figured if i'm happy with the large version, I could order two smaller knives to give to my sons once they get older. It looks like I'll be placing that order sooner than later :)





 
That is a fine example of a slip-joint......extra-clean! I think ol' Willie G would get a kick out of one of those! ;) :cool:
 
Im absolutely speechless! Id like to say that ive owned and handled some fine cutting instruments, but what Pepe made for me goes beyond anything I was expecting. This thing is unreal. I didnt know this level of craftsmanship existed. This knife was ordered solely based on pictures i saw on Instagram... Handling it is an entirely different story. Im ordering two more (for my sons) as soon as possible!

Forgive my quick photo, ive been asked to compare it in size to other knives. This thing is about the size of a large Sebenza. Here it is next to my PM2:

 
Lovely! I too have a Monster Lanny's Clip coming soon from Pepe. Your pics have really whet my appetite :)
