Good Evening.
It is I, etc.

OK, the sun's coming up and that means if I don't slide into my thing I sleep in I ain't gonna be feeling well later on, so I have to be a little brief...

The man in the brown truck came by today and honked at me and Missus G as we were standing in our driveway.
"MY HOSSOM EAR FIGHTER IS HERE!! MY HOSSOM EAR FIGHTER IS HERE!!", I shouted into my wife's face.
She told me to calm down and go put on some pants. She then signed for the package and I tore it open with some claws and fangs I had leftover from Arbor Day.

Inside was the soon-to-be famous Jerry Hossum/Me collaboration, The Millennniumiumium Ear Fighter!!
LOOK!

Now then, like I said, it's pretty early, so I didn't have a chance to make the intricate modifications to the knife just yet, vis-a-vis the "Ear" part, but here's a LINK to the somewhat lacking photos I just took of it. I wish the photos came close to showing how absolutely cool-looking this blade is!!
Alas, my $900 digital camera that I bought 5 years ago is suffering from a terminal case of out-datedness. Still, you oughta be able to get an idea.
The sheath's made by Survival Sheath Systems, but I forgot to add that link to the page. I spoke with Robert for about an hour today/yesterday and he's making me a Concealex Sheath for my Leatherman Wave... He's a real nice guy... heck, anyone who manages to keep talking to me for more than 3 minutes is practically deserving of Sainthood... but I drift....

Holding the Ear-Fighter in my paw/claw/tentacle I felt a real desire to go and stab something! I mean, like really STAB something! (Note the "thing" part of that word... I ain't violent) The balance is perfect, but the real kicker is how LIGHT it is! It reminds me of the first time I picked up one of those Mission Knives Titanium knives they make outta titanium... knives...The MPK, I think?
Well, The Ear Fighter is made outta 154CM, so it's not titanium, but it's a metal. (Sorry for getting all technical on ya, but my vast knowledge of metalurgicalitude tends to take over at times)
I spoke to Jerry today/yesterday/a couple of weeks from now, and informed him that his selling price is too low. (Of course, I waited until AFTER we struck a deal to tell him this!)

Anyhow, this is one of those blades that "spoke" to me as soon as I saw it at the Vegas Custom Knife Show. It's exactly the kind of knife that floats my boat, trips my trigger, inflates my love doll, etc.!
I can't say enough good things about this blade... the only complaint that I have is that Jerry named it "The Millimmuiumin" which always screws me up cuz I can't spell it.

OK, I said I was gonna be brief, and I pretty much lied.. but I had to share it with the folks here cuz basically, I have no friends in real life; people avoid me due to that thing on my neck that jiggles when I giggle and blinks whenever I sneeze; and 3, I like the folks here!
:D

Hopefully I'll be able to make the modification to the Ear attachment sometime tomorrow/today/last week and I'll pose and put the pics on that page when that happens/happened.

Now if you'll forgive me, the sun's shining and my shins are starting to smoke....
Off to goodnightdom,
I remain,
VG
Thrilled Bastid

PS - Someone lemme know if it's "Gerry" with a "J" or "Jerry" with a "G", ok? It took me a month to remember that his name ain't spelled "HOSSUM" and his first name's spelling is too much of a challenge for me at this time.
Thanky

That is a great piece, VG! That would certainly make anyone's day and will surely take care of any 'ear fight' :D

HM

Its a J, VG.
Nice knife, I'm sooooooooooooooooo jealouse!
Now will that be set up for ear cleaning or ear carrying?
Is there a difference? Be cool if you could do both (like killing two bushes with one duck).
Just don't stab your thing, when you go out to stab something ;)
Enjoy it!

Thanks for the compliments, even though Gerry.. Jerry... dammit, I'm gonna call him Wally from now on! Least I know how to spell that!
;)

Anyhow, just to clarify... The Ear Fighter aspect means that it shall be attached to my ear, the same way my Simonich Neck Hatchet is attached to my neck.

Unfortunately, I'm running late for work so the fine motor skills needed to accomplish the Earversion ain't up to par at the moment, but soon ye shall see.

Off to scare (get scared by!) more Crips in the hood,
I remain,
VG

This is destined to be my most memorable collaboration. Glad you like your knife, VG. BTW, are you going to wear it in your strong ear or crossdraw? :)

Very nice!!! I got some Hossom in the mail last week too :D

Jgerry,
Hiya! It's me, Vamp... oh, you already know that....
I'm gonna wear it on my support side (that's the term I learned at Front Sight for what I used to call "weak side) so's I can use my Glock with the strong hand and sneakily grab the Ear-Fighter (By the way, Jerry ((finally learned the spelling!)) calls the knife I have "The Revenge", which is part of The Retribution Knife Series. I thought it was the Millllimmmuuiimnum cuz that's what it looked like on his site, but I'm happy it ain't called that cuz the spelling was killing me. Revenje is much easier for me to spell).. where the heck was I?..
OH! ... sneakily grab the Ear-Fighter with my support hand so's nobody'd see it coming! Another reason I'm wearing it on that side is cuz that's the side that already has a pierced ear. That's my only piercing as of now... although I WAS thinking about having my eyelid pierced, for a possible VG-Remington 870 Collaboration but Remington won't return my calls.

Nosamk, that IS a purdy knife!! Did you try handling it with the uhhh.... I think it's called the choil.. that half-moon shaped shape just behind the edged part of the blade before the guard. I was handling mine that way today and it really felt natural!
Oh, and what's the deal with the pattern? That's applied to the steel rather than "built in", like Damascus, right?

OK, I just got too serious just then, so I better run along...
Off to send some rather hurtful email to Remington,
I remain,
VG

VG - yeah yeah - you found Garrrry, you liked his knives....

I stood at Jerry's table at the classic custom knife show and lectured you for an hour about Hossom's fighters being the best and all..

Sic transit...:(

Well, HELLO there, Blilious!
How are ya?

Well, actually, the way I remember it...
I found Tom Mayo, who was set up next to Jerry and Tom introduced me to Jerry, then you overheard and introduced me to you, then you introduced Scorpio to me and so on and so on...
Yes, you DID lecture me about Jerry's knives and I agree fully!
In fact, when I'm not carrying the Revenge on my ear, I shall place it in my night table drawer, a tring attached to the sheath so that when I remove it, the sheath stays put and the knife comes out.
Pretty original idea, eh?
;)
By the way, Blilious, my favorite story from that day concerns my meeting a friend from the forums there and him saying, "Hey Dave! You know that knife you don't have? I don't have one too!"
Sound familiar?
Heh heh heh

Good to see ya!
Dave/VG

VG-

Yeah, the feel and handling of these two is great, they just want to be held ;)

The 'pattern' is Jerry's Yuppie Camo and it is etched into the blade[I'm sure Jerry can better explain it though]

VG

You gotta love these non-existing knives.... Had to play with it after I came back from the show...more damage to that poor wooden door..

I have this tendency to make people buy Jerry’s knives...

The regular percentage, right Jerry?

VG,

That knife KICKS A$$!!!!

Way to go Jerry. Once again you have created a serious masterpiece.

VG, if you want nicer pics, the key is natural sunlight. Put on that pink latex body suit that you ordered from me so the sun light will not touch your pale, delicate leathery hide and go outside and take your pics. Do it NOW! I want to see more pics of this knife!
