waking up to a heavy box landing on my bed i was happy to see it was my Junglas.I got up and quickly ran out back to try it out.

I chose a 3/4 dead 3" birch to test on.In no time I had a good size gap in the tree.

It came down with a little more effort.

Not one to let a downed tree go to waste I junked it up in no time.

I bought this knife as a light weight alternative to an ax on the trail next month.I'm glad I did.it should serve well.

How did you feel about it's chopping ability? Just right, prefer it were a little more blade heavy, etc?

nice... i'm trying very very hard not to buy he whole line... at least not at once (birthday is coming up next month). :D

Great buy and nice chopping. My wife called to say my Junglas arrived today so hopefully I'll be chopping with it soon as well.

sweet! i think that's the fastest delivery to being used knife i've read so far.

Wow...I'd say that is a very nice alternative to an axe or hatchet. Made pretty quick work of that tree. Impressive!!!!

Wicked chopper man ! I sooo got to get one of those. Congrats.

When I get the crave for another big knife, that will be the one.Congrats on your new blade !

I need... *ahem* want to get a dedicated chopper one of these days. The Junglas looks wicked. Either that or a straight up khukri... :)

I know the Junglas can chop. That I've already demonstrated. Can it do finer work?I decided to put it to the test.
Out to the fire pit.A spot high up in our pasture where it's nice and there's a ton of dry wood.
I started off with feather sticks.

I used my ferro rod to get things started. Admittedly it makes an awkward striker.Effective but a tad awkward.

Flames soon follow.

All of this was done under the direct supervision of my buddy Tom.
