My Junkyard Dog II is SHARP, and I'll have the scar to prove it.:D....I cut the inside of my rt upper thumb about an hour ago while "playing" with my JYD II...It went clear to the bone (it's a good thing that my thumb-nail was there to stop the travel of the blade...Otherwise I'd of had to superglue the tip of my thumb back on.:eek:.). Luckly, the cut was clean and as if done with a new razor-blade. I somehow lightly bumped my thumb onto the middle of the edge of the blade, and it started bleeding like I was hit in the neck with a machete.

No $2000 stitches this time as I just put a pressure dressing (aka a tight rubber-backed bandage) on it...(It's a GOOD THING that I'm an EMT :D), and so now "I'm good to go"...'Cept for feeling like a dumb-a$$...AGAIN...:o.
 
Maybe you need to stay away from sharp objects. I think for Christmas we all need to buy you a set of those chain mail cut proof butchers gloves. Glad to here you wont be going to the hospital this time. So does every knife you trade come with a custom blood red blade coating. :p .

No, I slowly & CAREFULLY wipe my blood off the blade...Every time.:D.:D.

And as far as the gloves go, I think it'd be better if they were made out of that new Kevlar-type of puncture/slice-resistant material.:D.

I think I need to CSI the two I got from him, I know the Cold Steel did some damage !

I don't remember the Benchmade ever attacking me, but yah, I did have to pull the Tanto out of my arm after it stuck itself in there...That was back in May of '06, so that knife should be pretty much calmed-down by now, and hopefully has lost its' taste for blood.:D.
 
i avoid my Lahar's edge as much as possible (well in playing anyway). i dont need to have to go the hospital and not get anymore knives (my mom is still freaks when i cut myself on accident when playing with them. and i still live at home and all). so yeah. glad it wasnt that bad quote on quote
 
Sorry to hear, but it's still a bit funny cause it's happened to all of us.

I think it hillarious that NGK ships a little bandaid package w/ each shipment. "you're gonna need it" :D

As a matter of fact, THAT'S one of the bandaids that I have on my thumb right now.:D.:thumbup:.
 
I bought a JYD2 a few weeks ago, and it is probably the sharpest folder from the factory that I have ever handled.
