Found myself the other week in a position without my trusty defensive knife that I always carry in my right front pocket. When I realised that it might be needed for the confrontation that was developing between me and three other hostiles, I suddenly remembered that I had left it on the front seat of my car. It got hairy for a few minutes, but I finally talked my way out of the siuation like I always try to do, and the dispute was resolved without violence.
I do not want to find myself in this position again, without a defensive weapon, so that is why I am looking for a good boot knife.
I really do not know what length one should be. I do know that I would like to have one in stainless and with a kydex sheath because of corrosion concerns. Also, I would like it to be comfortable to wear inside a pair of boots.
Are there any good quality factory knives that I should give consideration? Your recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
