My Kelly and Aussie axes

hi

New to the forums,i thought i would post up some pics of my KELLY,TRUE TEMPER and other assorted axes

MY first pic is my KELLY BLACK RAVEN most likely from the early 1900,s going on the lettering in the etched stamp

I won it on Australian ebay many years ago,its simular size and pattern to the KELLY TRUE TEMPER TASMANIAN pattern and PLUMB TASMANIAN pattern.

I had never seen a BLACK RAVEN that size in a single bit axe head before.I did pay alot for it ,just had to have it :eek:
 
I think its safe to say Pauly hit a home run on the first pitch. Welcome to the forum.

You gonna post the Aussie axes too? I am sure I am not the only one that would like to see them.
 
I would also like to see more of those giants from down under. I love my Connecticut's and Jersey's, but the allure of those Tasmanian's is strong. That's an amazing looking axe.
 
I love Tasmania. Let's see some Down Under local axes too!
(I live 5mi east of Connecticut)

I'm a HUGE fan of those Tasmanians axes. That thing is beautiful ;)

There's a fine fellow on here that is from New Zealand... You had better watch it he might try to find you :D

Thanks for all replies, i will sort out some more photos of the BLACKRAVEN and a few pics of some KELLY TRUE TEMPER "DANDENONG" 4 1/2 pounder axes and KELLY TRUE TEMPER TASMANIAN 2KG AXZES.

I haven dozens of "HYTESTS" along with "KEESTEEL" both the first of the forged aussie axes available after WW2.

Have a few english axes including BRADES "COCKATOO" 4 1/2 pounders as well as ELWELL,GILPIN

A few US made PLUMB TASMANIANS as well

I will try and post some up tomoorrow

These Tasmania axe patterns are mesmerizing.

Any interest in trading for some U.S. axe patterns? If so shoot me a PM or an email.
