Hello BladeForums,
This is my first thread, here to show you my handmade pvc sheath for a khukuri house 3 Chirra SPL (Guardian Angel).
The knife:

The PVC:

I lined a baking sheet with tin foil and put the pvc in to bake at a 300 degs. When soft, I flattened it over the blade and used a folded towel under a cutting board to press it flat over the blade.
There are many better tutorials out there. Only thing I did differently is use a heat gun to repeatedly heat the pvc while I cut the general shape out with my utility knife. I left 1mm extra so I could sand the rest down. I had to reform it many times to get it right. Pulling the blade out a centimeter and forming it then meant it would sit tight in the sheath and not fall out.

I did a lot of reshaping and mulling over the design after the above cut. A few beers persuaded me to try and incorporate a saw blade into the sheath... well the PVC cracked after too much fine manipulation. I was bending the pvc when it wasnt hot enough and it split... sh!t! So I cut it off ended up with:

The top half of the front is cut down to expose the blade, while the back is curled over the cutting edge. I like how the steel is exposed and shows the waves and detailing. I will need to protect the blade from the elements somehow, maybe blueing.
If anyone can point me where to get the oxodizing agent in British Columbia, Canada economically, I'd appreciate it!
Back to the sheath, after I was happy with the shape and fit, I made love to it using files and the finest sand paper. It was thrusted at, smoothed and caressed until perfect.
There are 2 webbing attachments on top, and one below for a high mount. There is also a belt attachment on the back that traps the belt:

The rope cutter, slightly more dangerous after my earlier debacle but still functional. If I was to do it again, definitely would have made a deeper angle, this one barely cuts...

Its all spray painted with krylon camouflage plastic paint. I tried the black version but it was too glossy even though it was matte. This stuff is like chalk. Chicago bolts hold it all together, from home depot, also sprayed.
Now the fun part!
I'm an idiot.
I tried throwing my 12" khukri.
I'm an idiot.
First throw, wobbled and hit on its side.
Second throw, rebounded at me, that was a close one!
Third throw, hits the handle and... *wooden* you know it...

I'm Pissed!
What the eff do I do? I distaste wooden handles for this reason, its fragile!
I will say that the handle is too large and this breakage doesn't affect my grip. It could be reshaped, but at what effort...
Is it fixable? What are my options?!?
I'm open for questions and suggestions, there may be a second version of the sheath.
