My Khuks arrive!

Received my 3rd and 4th Khuks today! A 21" GS and a 25" Sirupati. WOW.
Lotta steel there. They'll need about an hour apiece of detailing to get them perfect, but that's half the fun. The GS is a little wavy on the forging, but it does not detract at all. The craftsmanship is amazing. The feel in the hand of an HI Khuk is really magical. I can't put them down. Tomorrow I should receive my 15" AK. Now I'm broke.;) Well, khukuri broke anyway. 5 khuks in 2 weeks will do that to you. Man, I've got it bad. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but these things are amazing.

Now I just have to figure how to bring them home from work without my wife noticing.:rolleyes:

Can't help you on that, but once you get about five openly displayed you're pretty much home free from then on, as long as she's not there when the next ones are delivered. Wives seem to develop a MEGO symptom at some point, and don't notice when new khuks arrive any more than husbands count shoes;) At least that was my experience - lots of comments on the first four or five, but hardly a murmur on the next fifty or so:D

Yeah? You ought to try working from home;) Now THAT'S tricky! "Honey could you run out to the store and be gone from 2-4pm? Please? Why? well, er, I, um....":D
