My kids found this knife, and we were wondering what it is....?

This is a picture of the knife her kid found. This is one hell of a knife to just find if you ask me.

If I found that, I would try very hard to lose it again.

It looks like a cheap flea market knife. A pseudo-asian/martial arts knife thingy.

Sometimes finding a knife is NOT a good thing.
 
Yes,

A combo Martial Arts bottle opener Ninja weapon, made in china, from a flea market. Just give the kids a day or two and they will hopefully break it or lose it.

A better question is what is it with members that have been here for a while and their overall lack of manners so often? You'd think they would be a little more polite and welcoming to folks that come here. But oh no....Saturday morning cartoons must be over, right guys? :rolleyes:

Dude, Saturday cartoons have been over for like 2-3 years now. Maybe that is what's causing all this caustic behavior.
Great. Now I'm depressed.

Anyway. Thanks for posting Jessicajeanray. Definitely an interesting find, and worthy of asking around about. Alas, it looks like something that doesn't have much value other than being a cool story.

If I was a young kid, I'd be thrilled to have found that knife. :thumbup:

Sorry to say it's not worth much, but perhaps the kids could use it to practice sharpening. And it's a good tool for teaching knife safety.

The knife reminds me of visiting Chinatown and seeing the sale bins of Ninja stars and other 'weapons'. ;)

Your snide remarks are no different than my "lack of mannerisms"...
But you're a mod, so I guess we'll just sweep that under the carpet right?

As another user stated, there have been some very spam-like posts here and there lately. A first post that asks me to email a random email address? Come on man.. Get real, how does that not look like spam.

Good thing it wasn't spam, but I wouldn't put my personal info out there just in case.

Ps, I've seen some of the thing that you post on "the other side" of this forum rev, and let's just say they lack mannerisms too;) so let's not point fingers:)

If something appears to be spam-like, report it. The small black triangle that is located under each post works. My conduct is not what is in question, and most people know I am pretty laid back. So why you are trying to call me out here is kind of confusing to me. But, I'll play along. The old saying goes, "If you have nothing good to say, zip it". If you cannot follow the rules that are expected in this specific section, then maybe refrain from posting. You could have easily reported the thread and moved on, but you chose some other avenue.

If you have a beef with the way I conduct myself, be me guest and please start a thread in Tech Support, again this would not be the correct venue for such a discussion. If you persist here, then we are going to have some problems, and given the nature of your cavalier reaction to my comments, then that is something we may need to address. Everyone else seems to have understood.

The "other" section have their own rules and do not apply here. So if you want to discus that, head over to Tech Support or wherever you feel like and I'll meet you there. Let me just remind you of an overlooked section of the FAQ:
