Not the standard wood block set but I think they cover most applications. What do you think? (Sorry it's so small I can't figure out how to make it bigger, any help would be appreciated):)

i don't know why but every time i see a bk-2 half polished it just think its awesome. the half black half steel is just cool as hell

I like the look of that Mora clipper between the RC3 & 4 - sort of ironic.
and yeah - the BK2 looks great!

Well, it's certainly not the traditional Old Hickory set, but somehow, I like them better.:D

Pretty unique kitchen set: I wouldn't mind one like that hanging on my wall.

Potatoes=potato peeler
frozen chuck roast...that's easy, the BK9 of course...LOL

I'll be honest, they're marvelous. I use my BK2 in the kitchen more than the woods, but thats a changin'. . . . . . . . . .:D

I use a Schrade 165 in the kitchen now. I will try the BK-2.
I REALLY want a Magnum Camp for the kitchen!

Magnum camp is that crazy knife a butcher wields like it's his own hand and uses to break down a animal in 45 seconds

Hey gdeno.....

Thanks for the vote of confidence.......After you buy a few more Beckers, you may wish to get an Al Mar santuko (the rosewood is nice)....Very nice and a real thin slicer for your veggies....Also Murray Carter makes 'em damned sharp and they are a delight to use as well.......The Magnum Camp is no slouch especially when it comes to be carnivore time....

All Best....

Could it be . . .

Thanks Ethan I'll look into those into the future, also thanks for making your return on my post, AWESOME!

I don't know why I can't see a bk-2 in a kitchen, when I hold it I hear the call of the wild and the pounding of drums like i have to go do something adventurous

Does that make me crazy

or at all. :D

chanting..." Magnum Camp, Magnum Camp"

Say, shouldn't you be at a EA (engineer's anonymous) meeting?:D

Oh, well, if you want to hang around and chant Magnum Camp, Magnum Camp, then I guess you're on the road to recovery.

I'm always up for a bit of repartee with my fav ex-grunt!
And, after only five minutes of chanting my wife told me to "shut it". haha
where's my t-square?

"I'm an engineer, but I can change, if I have to, I guess."
(Shamelessly borrowed from Red Green)

And I don't mind a bit of witty repartee with a former squid, either, especially if they're the kind that could build things to make we jarheads more comfortable.:D

I can well understand why your wife would tell you to "shut it." Five minutes of chanting like that can easily annoy a woman to the point where she wants to make you sleep in the back yard. No, you should save your chanting for here on the Becker forum where there are like minded people who not only understand, but will chant along with you (Magnum Camp, Magnum Camp).

Why are you looking for your T-square? Is it a security blanket, of sorts? I think I have still have several lying around, two of which are stainless steel (for cutting against). I don't know what good they are, though, since I no longer have a table.

See, admitting you have a problem ("I'm an engineer, but I can change, if I have to, I guess.") is the first step. We're proud of you, Greg.
