I wanted a "gentleman's knife" with thumbstuds that was light and would ride easily in a pair of slacks to add to my collection. The Kizer Mini Begleiter is almost perfect. I believe this is a BladeHQ exclusive and I got it on sale for $46.99 + tax + S&H. The 154CM 2.875" blade is centered, good sharp grind, and the liner locks up tight. The G-10 scales feel fantastic and the action is good. It flicks open with authority via the thumbstuds when you find the sweet spot. The knife's fit and finish are excellent and the color scheme of the tan with blue pivot ring is very attractive. This is a smallish knife, but it feels good in the hand. In most categories this knife meets or exceeds expectations for this price range. The only problem is the pocket clip. It's not deep carry and it's a little on the big side for a knife of this size. I contacted Kizer and asked if they had a deep-pocket option, but they said no. Too bad, this knife would otherwise be perfect. I like the knife and will put it in my EDC rotation. I got to stop buying knives before my wife kills me with one of them.

Thanks for sharing. I've been eyeing the larger version...but am trying to slow my buying too! IDK why though...no ammo to buy...at least at current prices!

Here in Cali there is no ammo or firearms to buy currently. Lines start forming early in the morning to get into half-empty local gun stores. IMO knives ARE the new guns now.

I've always thought it was a very good looking knife but I've never pulled the trigger on one. Glad you're liking it. Thanks for taking a few to do a write up.

I did find a deep carry titanium pocket clip on MXG Gear. There are two minor issues that can be overcome with a drill if necessary.
The clip is for a Zero Tolerance 0055. Two T-6 stainless screws are included or if they are the wrong size you can use your old screws.
You will notice I stated two issues. The second being the cost of $23.
I guess it comes down to how much you want a deep carry pocket clip. Some times taking a chance can be a good thing. Life is one big chance.
Best of luck.
