Pants. Didn't see that coming.

I got one too. Happened while mushroom hunting. I squatted down with my small Sebenza in my watch pocket. Felt a sting and realized the blade had slightly deployed in pocket. Now it lives in a sheath. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1356277256.699308.jpg

Time to adjust those pivot screws, huh guys?

A knife that is guilty of involuntary self-deployment is a no-go with me. It leaves the rotation altogether until I get the problem fixed.

I blame the thumb stud more than a detent issue with the Sebenza; moreover, the pivot bushing system makes a pivot tightening moot.

I have had a paramilitary 2 open in my pocket and cut me. That was a weak detent.

I just can't trust a one-hand opener without a sheath.

Cut myself once, shame on me. Cut myself twice, shame on me again. Cut myself thrice, shame on me a third time.

The only knife I ever had open in my pocket was a SOG Twitch 2. I don't like to use the safety on Spring Assisted Knives because I like to be able to open the knife right out of the pocket and use it rather than have to do a whole extra step. This is the ONLY knife I have ever had that opened itself in my pocket even though I didn't use the safety. So it opened twice and sliced through my pocket and cut me too. Needless to say, that knife was GONE soon there after.
