When i grab the blade of my knife and the handle of my knife and move them both to test the axis lock, I notive a tiny give where the blade move a bit.Are the washer and axis system wokring fine and is this normal to have a tiny give in the blade lock?

Thanks

Two questions:

Which direction is the play in? Vertical (in line with the edge) or horizonal?

How new is the knife? I've had Axis locks take some time before they really lock up tight, sometimes a couple hundred openings. I have the 14210, and it had a bit of horizonal play at first.

Yeah..! Look like you had the smae horizontal play as I did...

tightening up that screw under hte axis lock works but its too tight for the blade.

How would you fice that horizontal play?

You may just need to tighten the pivot a little. You have to find the right balance between blade play and tightness so you can have minimal bladeplay and maximal smoothness.

Also, I think a few of the keys on your keyboard must be switched around :p

ok, yeah i can grab the handle and the blade and wiggle them both and I feel a ting bit a play...horizontally.

Does this play ever go away?

You have to fine tune the screw tightness. If you can't eliminate the horizontal play without making the blade too tight, you might try lubing it with some good stuff and then tighten it up some more and just work it.

If that doesn't work, send it back to Benchmade. At the prices you pay for Benchmade, you need perfect knives.

On the plus side, horizontal play isn't something to be too worried about.

My Sebenza is totally rigid in all directions when locked open.

The same is true of my Benchmade 550, my CRKT S-2, my CRKT Apache II, my CRKT Lightfoot Urban Shark, my CRKT Rollock, my Spyderco Vesuvius, my Timberline Timberlite, my SOG Flash II, my SOG Sculptura, and my Kershaw Leek!:D :D :D

I agree with others on the pivot screw. BTW I have lots of knives that lock up nicely, no brand names needed.

It's not a brand name, it's a model name. :D
