Ok so i have a new Bear Forest "Simple"Great company! Something about kydex sheaths I dont like is that when you put your knife into them unless you go ultra slow and make sure each time the knife catches inside the kydex and you have to adjust a tad to get it in properly if that makes sense. Has anyone else experienced this with Kydex?

Yes, I've experienced this.

Like a lot of things, sheaths need to be 'broken in'. Like a great pair of jeans, your sheath needs to be worn and used a few times.

YMMV

I too have had the same experience. The sheath for SK-5 SRK was great right out of the box. However, the one for my 3V SRK was really bad when I got it. Those sheaths are not Kydex, but GRN I believe.

Anyhoo, the first few nights I had the 3V model, I did about 10 careful/meticulous insertions and quick presentations until I got it to where I liked it. It's all good now.

i wish i'd tone meticulous reps like you! i did 10 or so but it caught the sides a lot of those times 🤦🏻‍♂️

I don't care for Kydex sheaths. They tend to scratch up the blades in my experience. A leather sheath treated with SnowSeal to prevent moisture absorption works better IMHO.
