My knife is giving me OCD

Has this happened to anyone else?

My Buck 309 arrived less than shaving sharp. Since then, I've been compulsively sharpening it and testing it out on papers to be shredded. Sharpen, cut paper, repeat... 30 or more minutes go by.

I can shave my face with this knife now, but still get the urge to sharpen and test it. The feeling of the blade cutting smoothly through paper is so addictive. Who needs a shredder when you have a sharp knife?
 
i was with you until once it was sharp. i can't stand a dull or not so sharp knife. so i would have done the same thing, but only until it could cut paper easily and was sharp. after that it would have gone in my pocket and on to other tasks...........
