Great news Lisa from twowolves emailed me yesterday and said my RC3 was shipped yesterday. Now I am like a kid on Christmas eve watching the mailbox. I can't wait until it comes. I have a camping trip the last weekend in this month with my son and his boyscout troop that I plan on using the knife extensively for all chores except shelter building for that I normally use a hatchet.

Congrats! Be sure to take lots of pictures and let us know what you think when you get back!

Cool, congrats on the RAT.

Have a blast with the scouts. I spent the afternoon carving an owl head to be affixed to a troops flag pole/hiking staff. I used a RC-3 to carve the head............and a Dremel.:D

I just ordered a RC-6 today. I have to admit I'm a little concerned about the blade thickness though... I don't think I can wait a whole week!

I also got an e-mail from Lisa at TwoWolvesOutdoor and they shipped my Izula's & firekits today and the RC-5 should be shipping in a few days. I better get some paracord so I can wrap the handles when they arrive.

The RC6 is a solid knife and Is one I use alot camping, unless your prying bricks embedded in the ground I would not worry about the RC6,I have baton hardwood solid oak limbs & logs without any ill effects ! :D

Bad news. I went to USPS site to track shipment of my RC-3 and this is what popped up. "Your item was misrouted. The error has been corrected and every effort is being made to deliver it as soon as possible. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later"(USPS website). This is really frustrating. Guess there is nothing I can do but wait. I just hope it is not too long. I knew I should have requested and paid for overnight shipping.

Just recieved my RC-3. It I am impressed with the overall feel of the knife. It feels good in my hand, heavy enough to feel sturdy and strong yet not overbearing. I am going to have to read the directions for the sheath. I am planning on inside the pants or belt carry. Now it is time to play.

Glad to know you did get your RC-3. I know it was a rough journey for you and appreciate your patience with the whole thing.

Hope you enjoy it as much as the old man enjoys ours... maybe one day I will get to try it out myself.

Okay everyone I know this might sound dumb but how do I connect the boot clip to the sheath I will not be using the molle locks and the directions that come with it seem geared toward the molle locks. I plan on carrying on my waist inside the pants or on my belt. Thanks again, Two wolves outdoors, your service was great, prompt replies and a real person to communicate with in todays age. Wow. I will be using you with my next purchase. This once I get the boot clip on will become my edc, when money permits I will be wanting a RAT-5.

Heres a couple of pics of my new baby.
