I was at a Specs liquor store yesterday and I noticed that they had cigar boxes for sale. Paper boxes were around a quarter and wooden boxes for $1.25 or something like that. I found 2 that I thought were good sized for storing knives... I'll just skip to the pictures!

I want to figure out a way to line the Cohiba box so that the knives don't slide around. The Brazilia box is perfect, I'm gonna keep my eye open for more of those.

Yeah the Brazilia box is perfect, it's actually pretty nice....

For the unlined box maybe a piece if egg crate foam?

or something that is called a *Limited Time Offer* Non-Slip Dash Mat which comes up for a buck on a google search

Nice-looking boxes. I remember my Grandfather kept his pocketknives in a cigar box, which he took down and showed us kids sometimes.

Get some non slip drawer liner from lowes, that's what i use in my knife drawer

Watch out on those. I've had some that, over time, stuck to the knives. I still use them, but covered with a cloth so the knife isn't directly on the pad.
The [really expensive] Craftsman toolbox liners don't seem to have that problem.

I'll go check those out at Lowe's. Thanks for the Heads up on the sticky liners Bob.

Bob is correct , the rubber ones sometimes leave stains on scales and metal bolsters.

I came across the "original sticky pad" by HandStands. It was 5 dollars and it worked great for the Cohiba box.
