My Knife.

Hi all New to this forum.
just thought i would post up a pic of my knife,
as i try to figure my way around this great looking forum.
knife specs are as follows.
Blade D2 steal 4.5 inch 1.5 inch wide and 3/8ths thick
handle 4.25 inch with walnut and damascus bolster
liners are brass.
file work circumnavigates the full tang.
let me know what you think.

unless there sharp there just a knife shaped object.
like mine to be very sharp but also to be a useful edge.
if you get what i mean.
 
just starting out really.
hope to move from hobbiest to making small runs
of my own design..
mind you must not interfere with my archery.
or my clays.

Great looking knife and work! A little too busy with all those different pins (for my taste). But, maybe you were trying out different things?

Where in Ireland are you? I sometimes fantasize about making bog oak and sterling handled knives. What kind of archery do you do?

Im North of Dublin in county meath.
as for bog oak..
i have a chunk of it that i plan on using for some woodlore type knives at some point.
 
I've always wanted to visit Ireland. I'm like Phil. I would like to know what type of archery you enjoy. I love to shoot my recurve whenever I can.
