When I was at Blade this year I had a chance to pick up one of Jason's new Knight Combat knives . He had brought 3 with him and they went rather quickly.

All 3 where very similar this one had a bit more upswept tip to it. Buddy grabbed one and the other I believe went to someone at Wilson Combat.

The knife has a 6 1/4 inch Brut de forged blade with a dappled blued finish that is super easy to touch up.

A conves edge and harpoon like clip make for a nasty profile. The blade is forged of L 6.

It is a full tanged knife with a nicely shaped I believe G 10 handle

Paul took the knife home with him and althought he was not to keen on making this very plain utilitarian sheath he did exactly what I asked for and made me a very functional combat grade sheath. The sheath has large loops on each side that you wear with the belt on the outside of the sheath or many other carry configurations. The loops are large and the sheath can free float up or down or anngled to acomidate sitting in a car or being angled to the position that I carry a blade.

The sheath is very secure and is pulled close to the body which does not print and is very concealable but lighting fast to draw and put into action.

The knife can be concealed with an untucked tee shirt or under a sport jacket or coat very easily.\

It may not be pretty Paul but fo my style of carry behind mt left hip cutting edge pointing forward it is perfect just like I carrry a large bowie.

Thanks Jason and Paul for making a very rugged and practical combat package for me.

I hope Jason makes more of these they are very resonable priced forged L 6 combat blades with a very cool easily touched up finish

I am sure Paul won't make many of these shesths though:D

Really nice set up, Joe.
Simple and black...Classic!
Are you sure there's nothing special on the backside?

Nice setup. Like the shape of the blade. Has a bit of a Lum influence. Paul's work is top notch too.

Just another loop and a paul long stamp

On a longer blade a simple oversized stud will suffice but on these shorter blades because there is not enough blade going thru the belt i have found these pancake style sheaths work very well

I hate a blade floping around on the outside of my belt I prefer the belt around the sheath so the knife is held close and does not flop around

It is great when your dear buddy is the best sheath maker on the planet you get to experiment around and find what really works for you

Joe, you said a mouthful there, nothing more important for a fixed blade than a sheath that works! Awesome blade BTW but then you already knew that. :D

Really cool rig by Paul. The knife and leather make a great package. I missed seeing this knife at Blade. I like it!

A fitting sheath for Jason's Combat knife! You really have a great package there, Joe! I wish I had grabbed one of those from Jason, but bet there will be more available down the road.

Nice setup and makes a lot of sense. Surprised more sheaths are not designed that way.

Congrats Joe!

That is a very cool knife and a great sheath to go with it. I bet Jason could have sold each one of those twice over.

What's left to say ?! :D
Congrats on an outstanding package, Joe !
Crazy about this rig, super work by both artists !

Really nice, no-nonsense knife design and finish and a crackerjack sheath design. Way to go, Joe!

Sorry I missed you at Blade this year.

Here's mine, Joe - shown with an off the shelf kydex and ballistic nylon sheath Jason provided. However, the knife deserves a good custom sheath. I like how your high rider turned out. Great idea. Wonder where the third one went.
