My knives so far

Relatively new to this, so here goes.
It all started with a Kershaw leek I got about a year and a half ago. First quality knife, and I was pretty happy with it. Then I discovered a knife store in my area and saw all sorts of shiny sharp things that seemed to speak to me. So within the last six months, I have gotten eleven knives. If I remember correctly, I'll try to list them in the order I got them, from first to latest purchase.

1. CS Ti-Lite(Zytel Handle) 2. CS AK-47 3. ZT 0200PE 4. Kershaw Lahar 5. Spyderco Endura ComboEdge 6. CS Recon Tanto. 7. CS Spike(tanto point) 8. ZT 0400 9. Byrd Crossbill 10. Spyderco Delica Wave 11. Byrd Cara Cara

A few silly ones in there I know, but I haven't regretted a single purchase. Every folder has been in my pocket for an EDC every day since I started getting them, whether I'm working or not. Some work well with jeans only, others work well with business attire or jeans.

Do I have a favourite? Not really, I like them all, or I wouldn't have bought them in the first place. I seem to carry ZT 0400 more often when I'm wearing jeans than any of the others, and when I'm working the Lahar probably gets the most "pocket time". The Endura is almost always in my briefcase, and the Delica I use often when I'm wearing shorts.

Okay, okay, here are a few pictures. I grouped them by brand, and you'll see a Buck folder I've had for years. Don't remember how I got it-might have been given to me by a customer.

Thanks for looking at my mediocre collection so far.

At that rate you'll have over a hundred in five years!

I've never personally been a fan of Cold Steel knives (aesthetically speaking and plus the name just sounds too "tough guy/cool guy"), but that Spike is waaaay cool looking. I'm gonna keep my eye open for that one to keep in my kitchen drawer. Looks like it'd be good to serve up cheese with or to just use as an every day kitchen utility knife.

You have to be careful around this site you will go broke. In 2 years I have bought.

You have a good start. Now you should look into a Spyderco Mili, and a Caly 3. IMHO they are two of the very best EDC production knives made to date.

I like them better in full Serrated edges, but thats just me. The plain edge versions are great to. Both are also offered in a few different "super steels". Have fun, and remember there is no "perfect EDC", its all about the journey trying to find it. ;)

Thanks for the replies folks!

So-Lo, I have looked at the Caly3 and the Military, and one of them probably will be next(BG-42 maybe).
StrechNM, I buy from one place here in Canada (Warriors & Wonders), and he won't deal with Benchmade. I will look at them on my next trip to the States though.
ashtxsniper , I'm jealous of your collection. I'll go broke even quicker if I try to catch up to you, but I'll give it my best shot :D.
