As I said before I have a certain passion for khukris.
My first khukri came from England,it was brought back to Canada. My late father brought it back 35 years ago, it is a decorative piece. I use it for training.
The second one I own is also used for training. I found it at a popular gun show, while ridding myself of a few double handed swords.

My third was given to me as a gift, include in the deal was a penny.
The man who me the knife, recieved it as a present for saving another mans life. The drowning man was saved by this RCMP officer. Years later the man rewrded the officer with a gift, a khukri from Nepal.

My fourth knife was made by the khukurihouse at www.khukurihouseonline.com
It is called chukuri a hybrid special.
It has a unique blade.

We have a certain affinity here for Himalayan Imports.

They have graced us with their hospitality for years. There is a direct connection from Nepal, through to the BladeForums via Uncle Bill (may he rest in peace) and Yangdu Martino.

Check out the website at http://www.himalayan-imports.com

While you are certainly encouraged to show your stuff, you are also strongly encouraged to check out Himalayan Imports. You are also strongly encouraged to check out this Forum as well: www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=739

I personally own 8 Khukuris, including a WWI piece from Nepal via Atlanta Cutlery, and a handmade piece from Vince Evans. I have trained in MJER Iaijutsu for the last 5 1/2 years. What style do you currently study/train in?

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

PS: What's with the Kobun "out" thing? The only other person that I know that does that is Leatherbird.

Kohai999; maybe it's just me, but you seemed to come off rather hostile and competative in your post. I hope that's not how you meant it.
Ghost Kobun; welcome to the forums. The products on Kukri House were very impressive looking. How well does yours hold up? For the price, I can't see any reason not to buy one.

Thanks:
The khukri is very sharp, now I have not tested it yet with wood or rope as of yet. The Gherkas in Afganistan recommended this company, thus I would suppose their advise to be sound.

What I study in the MA: Wado Kai Karate was my base
Kali is my passion
Various other Martial styles also intrigue me.

My beef with the MA: How most people never realize that unarmed combat links itself to all fighting art forms. Example: I love KI Concepts : Linking the lines.

As for Out: Well it's like Regards or see you later. Furthrermore, in the past I used a lot of radio communications.
