Hi,
I would like to begin a chronicle of my knives. What I have now, what I want to have, what I carry, etc. I expect this to be a long thread (eventually), and I'd be thankful for any comments and suggestions. Just a bit of background before I begin, I volunteer for Church (doing construction building a conference center in SoCal), and I don't have much (read: any) disposable income. I'll begin college shortly, and I plan on improving my knife collection. As you will see, I favor quality over quantity; anyway, here goes:
I currently own a significant amount of Cutco (for my kitchen), and I really do love it. As far as EDC and survival knives, I have a folding Craftsmen utility knife w/ Lenox blades, and a 5 1/2 clip point Cutco hunting knife; oh, I also own a Leatherman charge TTi, which has two respectable blades (the straight edge is S30, which is cool).
My wish-list for edged tools, as it stands right now, is an Atwood Wharncliffe Booger (would reside in my wallet), an Atwood Mini-Son-of-Prything (keychain), Benchmade 520, Chris Reeve Sebenza, or Strider SMF Gen 2 MARSOC folder (other Strider's or maybe an Emerson to follow, and this would be in my pocket). Also a Busse fixed blade hunting/survival knife (with a blade between 4-7" long) and a Strider camp axe. That's pretty much it for now, unless my irrational desire to own a real, handmade katana counts.
Thanks for reading, I don't think I forgot anything, any I appreciate any comments
