My Kydex keychain has loosened. How do I fix it??

I have a keychain rig, by OnSceneTactical, for my leatherman squirt, it used to be nice and tight. But now, it has loosened up. Can anyone give me some pointers to make it hold the tool tight once again?, I dont want to have to send it back and have it fixed. Thanks in advance..

Kydex can me remolded using a heat gun. I've seen some people able to manipulate it with just a hairdryer. Its a touchy process, but you should be able to heat it up till its hot, and just push it together a little bit. Put your leatherman back in it and have it cool with it in there.

Watch out though. Kydex does put off some nasty noxious fumes when heated.

Cypher2001 is correct. I re-shaped the opening on a kydex sheath for my Spyderco Ronin, using just a hair dryer set on high. Go slowly and let the sheath cool before you evaluate it. It may take some time, but it's worth it to get the sheath to fit just the way you like it.
