i just checked out a thread on KF and saw the scissor jack version and im getting ideas lol.
Thats a great setup i think very quick and no fussing with c clamps i like it.

How hot was your kydex? You grabbed it by hand so it couldn't have been much over 120F.

LOL...i am a line cook by day, KydexBender by night ,it burns but i can take the heat few extra seconds than the rest of you guys.... i have gotten used to it i guess and for the life of me i can not work with gloves i have couple pairs and they just sit there...
i think the temp was somewhere bet 250 -270
