for some reason, i have nicked myself with every knife i have bought on the 1st or 2nd day, despite my best efforts to the contrary. this includes my Endura that i just received. my finger finally healed all the way after 9 days.

the funny part is, after the first nick, i never have cut myself with any of my knives a 2nd time. another interesting thing is that i also haven't cut myself with a knife that i didn't buy. the used or new knives that i have been given from friends and family are apparently free from this curse.

this arouses my suspicion. it occurs to me that my wife may be secretly hexing all of my purchases. perhaps she's hoping with each new cut i inflict, i might just give up this new "hobby."

May I suggest that you restrict all your future purchases to newgraham.com? You will receive a small packet of band-aids with each shipment.

That is no joke and in some societies is considered a serious part of knife ownership
 
What's really bad is when you cut yourself while fondling a dealer's knives...so embarasing.
