Got a Perkins blade this week. Ugliest sheath I had ever seen. Made a sheath based upon using a sword frog. That way I could carry on either hip, a bit more leather than my other convertibles but the nice thing is that without the frog it makes for a great pocket or belt tuck. Because of the curve of the blade I'm using a cutout to act as a lock on the front hilt. You have to rock the knife back a little to release the blade. Seems to work, but field testing will be the proof.

Really good concept and design work. The retention idea is innovative. I like that a lot.

Looking at photo number one, it looks like your machine needs some quick attention to the thread tension. It has to be perfect especially for a reversible sheath. Other than that minor thing it is great work!

Hehe, my machine is my right hand, and I tried really hard to keep the knot in the middle. Maybe that's the solution, buy a machine!! I can't keep up with the knives I'm buying.
