i post question about autos, and everyone gets on my case like i did something wrong?? something wrong about this - I broke no laws, and the thing was niether numbered correctly in the advertisement(enabling proper ID), nor identified as an auto in said ad - and i'm an anus huh? well i have spent 1 helluva lot of $$ w/1sks, and spent a hell of a lot of time on this forum - well no more for either 1 - i'll buy knives elsewhere and go to another forum - i dont need a bunch of crap about this - ya'll act like i am the bad guy in this - ya'll arent out the $$ because i cant legally ship it back - so urinate on this fecal material, i'm not gonna take it - like i said i havent done a thing wrong and dont need crap from people about 'oh keep it secret' and oh do this - if it was so big a deal 1sks should have been a little more carefull and not sent me a switchblade knife - i thought i had made some good friends on this forum, and i enjoy it a lot, but i am not gonna take a bunch of crap off anyone, when i have done no wrong - i emailed mike 4 times about when he was shipping my order and he never has replied yet - i paid extra to have it 2 dayed by the way- write him about switchblade? hell he wont return mail about shipping from 3 days ago - so poo on this i have better ways to spend mt time and money

Vet,

Have 1sks send you a call tag. UPS will come to your door and pick up the package. You won't have to pay shipping back. You will be in no way violating a thing by sending it back to a bonified dealer. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Or... If you really like the knife. I do beleave you could take the spring out and it will become a button lock manual. Perhaps someon could help you with that in the auto forum. In 1SKS defense the GT line of autos is identical to the manuals.

Do not leave. The mistake is 100% mine and not yours or that of anyone on this forum including 1SKS.

I made the post on the sale and it was from the remaining inventory that was left over when 1SKS vacated my warehouse. 1SKS has nothing to do with this transaction. I humbly apologize to you for the error and hope that you hang around. People do tend to get anal about this subject, myself included, and we just don't want more attention than necessary brought to it.

It is general policy that should there be a problem with an order you should take it up with the dealer before posting about it. That is mostly why you got grief from the gang here. I understand that you were mainly looking for guidence as you have never been in this situation. It really is no big deal as the knife is legal where you are anyway. So this may be much to do about nothing.

Let's all let this die out and get back to knife talk.

And Vet please hang around and don't leave because of this. Next time I am in Texas I will buy ya a beer

That is indeed the way to handle this kind of problem. Of course Spark would probably cut your balls off if you started the kind of flame war here that ruined rec.knives. It still makes me feel good to see this kind of gentlemanly behaviour on your part. There is hope for us all.

Anyhow, give Mikebo a chance to make things right here, guy. No need to get hot under the collar.

One of the nice things about UPS is that the shipper can have UPS send out a mailer label. Just keep the box your order came in, slap the label on it, and drop it at a Mailboxes, Etc or any other UPS shipper - or even any UPS driver you see. It will come back to the shipper and everything will be right as rain.

I've never posted on this forum before,nor have I bought anything from Mike's company. But after seeing the way he has responded to this cry baby post, I believe he is somebody I want to do business with. So if Vet wants to check out, I'll take his place in the ranks.
