Hey guys
I havent been out on a trip for 7-8 months now. Ive started a new job that requires me to be away from my family on weekdays, only time i see them is on the weekends. So i cant really pack my rucksack and split while my wife and son are sitting at home
. I also sold my car, so that dosent make things easier. It has started to really frustrate me...I wanna be outside in the woods, make a fire, catch some fish, scramble up some mountains, spot some wildlife, look at the stars and hear the birds sing.
Ive got so many knives i havent even had a chance to try out yet! And NO, im not sending them to you for testing
! All my gear has been packed away in the basement, along with my fixed blades, and its just sitting there gathering dust...
Anyways, i just wanna thank all you regular posters in WSS for sharing picture-threads with the rest of us. Like ive said before, most of you visit places ill never see, so keep them coming. The pics always make me daydream and makes my day better.
So now its my turn to poat some pics...Here are some from the last trip i took last summer in Sweden. Hope you'll enjoy them as much as i enjoy yours:
This pic actually won me a prize in an amateur outdoor photo contest, a set of MSR titanium fork and spoon
!.
Sunset over the lake while my son cools off
Campfire
Drying my shoes after i accidently flipped over the canoe..everthing i was wearing got wet. Lost my MSR water bladder too :grumpy: but i got a fire going pretty fast so it wasnt critical
Some pics of the scenery
