Vey nice fighter Salem. Interesting mix in the damascus, looks great. So mate was that a crash, ride or high hat? lol.
Cheers Keith

Thanks, Keith. It was a crash... just a ZBT model Zildjian, not one of their real high dollar cymbals. I think the ZBT bronze is a prettier color than some of what they use in their nicer cymbals, though.

Splendid work Salem - it "RINGS" of quality :D

I'm super interested in your damascus constituents and overall impressed with this effort.
I don't like it in its entirety, right away. That is usually a good sign. I've been thinking on this knife all day and that inquisitiveness is an important element to me when I look at knives that don't get me right away. They kind of eat away at my mind, and that 'upsetting' is usually an indication of something special.

All that being said, I can definitively state that, to my eye, the guard quillion look a little too chubby, and that there is an incompleteness about this knife that, if confronted in future efforts, could create an evolution in your work.

I think it might have looked more complete with a matching dammy buttcap or a sculpted handle... thanks for the considered input, Lorien. Perhaps you'll like what I've got coming down the pike next, If I don't screw it up.

Salem, Nice Damascus. Nice Burl. Looks to be fast / light in the hand.

Love your work Pal

Thanks for sharing

Totally agree on the butt cap, and perhaps another coined spacer back there too. And the pin to match. The overall shape of everything is sweet, I wouldn't necessarily suggest changing the handle shape.

I like EVERYTHING that comes down the pike where your work is concerned, Salem. Every piece I've seen gets me to thinking, which is to say that mediocrity is not your strong suit!

One last thing I have to say, is that I am impressed by your graceful acceptance of my critique. That in itself is an indication of sustainability in this field.
