I finally found and aquired a couple of 107's. That model had been on my want list for awhile, but I finally found a couple that I thought were nice enough and reasonably priced. One is the old micarta handled one and the other is a newer wooden handle one. I hadn't realized how "dainty" they were until I got my hands on them. I've shown them together with their little brother from my Empress Trio set and also along side a 119 for scale. I think they will make a great bird and trout knife.

I really prefer the older one with the front "guard", and I wish they had continued with that design.

They look like they could fillet a fish real easy. Nice sheath too.

I remember looking at one at a pawn shop outside of Ft Polk in 1993. They had about 10of them NIB for $18 ea. I thought at the time they felt like a steak knife and a bit pricey (the 119 and 110 sold at the PX for less than $25 then) so passed on it. I do like the micarta with guard model and I would think it would make a decent B&T knife, and a good steak knife too.

Dave, thanks for the photos of your 107's . Buck dropped the guard at about the time of year date codes . And the three small pins went to 2 large pins near the same time as well . DM
