i've got the folder a couple weeks now and got the fixed last friday and thought i share a few quick pictures i took.
let me know what you guys think.

the maker of both knives is brad fairall from ohio... he made them excatly after my design. the folder features a few elements that are of his designs (overlays, the 4 grooves on the frame, clip.) so he is considered co-designer :D ... and after all, he made them work.
as you might see in the pics (i hope so), the fit and finish is bar none. everything is tight and smooth.

so, first is the folder.
3.5" S30V blade, 1/8" thick. OAL is 8.1"
the frame is made of 1/8" thick Ti with CF overlays, spacer is hardened 440C.
the weight is 139 grams and the knife has a really nice feel to it, the handle fits my hands just perfect and secure.

now on to the fighter, it's a really sturdy piece.
6.9" 5160 steel blade, 1/4" thick. hidden tang. OAL is 12"
handle is made of green and black micarta with a rough finish for better grip.
weight is 289 grams, balance is excelent and the handle is very comfortable.

Please forgive a new guy stupid question. Do the 5 notches near the end of the liner lock serve any functaional purpose?

I suspect its for a little extra grip, could be just esthetics.

Nice looking couple either way, great craftsmanship.

i gotta post again-WOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!! That's one sick FREAKIN' blade.

you need to design more folders-i can't tell you enough how much I love it

Folder...

I see it... I need it.... (but an inch longer blade from 3/16" stock)

1st pic-my desktop background for years to come-my picture when i turn on my iphone-my blade forums avatar, and then hopefully, in a sheath on my side

thanks guys, that's my second attempt on a folder after years.

@solidsoldier,

sorry, there is currently no plan on doing a 4.5" version. and just scaling it up is not right.

Will there be any folder offered in a 4"+ length?

currently i'm working on a 4"+ folder, very similiar to this one but more tank proof ;)

I'm very interested. I love the blade shape of this one.

Really good all around. Brad is VERY clever and talented, your design is superb, and the photos are absolutely great.

I currently have 3 blades to sell-if i can sell them, then I'm pretty sure I'm in, BUT what i need to know right now is a ball park price. Are we talking $1050 or $950 or $650? $650-$850 sound about right? $650-$750? $550-$750? Just need a ballpark price right now.

I know your busy, so I'm sure as heck not gonna bug you. Thanks a lot bro, much apprecaited.
