Nice work sir! I have always liked that border stamp. It was my favorite one to use until very recently. Take a hair dryer to that sheath for a couple of three minutes. It will get rid of those wax deposits in some of the shtamping from the Montana Pitch. Very classy, clasic and clean.

In terms of the style you make, I don't see them cleaner, ever. I love the camo stamp too. Surprised there is any wax. All of the Tiger thread I've used has been very light on wax. Amazing stuff that thread.

Can't tell ya how many times its the pics afterwards that I see little things like that in my own work. I think the wax is from the Montana Pitch probably not from the thread. Have you played with not overlapping that stamp but just using it side by side? Was up your way yesterday Strig. At West Hills College there in Lemore. My daughter plays basketball for Bakersfield College. They had four srimmages up there yesterday. Won all four.

Ah, okay. That makes more sense.

Bakersfield. Bleh. Nice to hear of the sweep though.

I was at Tandy in Fresno day before yesterday. An older gentleman walked in and asked the manager if there was going to be any classes on sheath making. Naturally I struck up a conversation. Turns out he's a blade smith that runs a forge and turns out mosaic damascus and mokume. He's a regular at the hammer in and knows Kevin Cashen, Mike Vagnino and all those guys. Valleys a big place, but a small world. :)

Dave - it is funny you mention that - I was thinking of that for this sheath - I want to try that and to stack them more vertically.

There is a larger version of that stamp that I would overlap often but that smaller one I almost always did side by side. What do you mean vertically, double row? Strig, her boyfriend pitches for COS, is that better? Its always cool running into folks with similar interests. Made some good connections that way.

COS? Yeah, I'm down with Visalia. :)

I always overlap them.

I don't really like them side by side on my work, but who wants them to be all the same? Almost bought a large one, but I like the small camo the best. For me it's really about camo for basket and geo stamp edging, not a stand-alone stamp.

I think this is super clean. It is one of those times where I am like "Very nice, super clean, wish my work was that polished". I always have something that is wrong on my sheaths. This is great.
