I came home at lunch today and found that a box from Kershaw had arrived:

Inside was not one, but 2 knives. The first was a very nice 1670OD Blur. Stone Washed CPM-154 with an OD anodized handle. I think I like this one better than my black S30V Blur. I'm starting to appreciate OD again, finally. :D

This knife was a prize in a little contest started by Thomas W. Thanks Thomas for your extraordinary generosity. This is a wonderful prize.

Looked at the packing slip as I opened the box and saw what I thought was a UGE suffix on the 2nd knife.

In the manila envelope with the Blur was a bare Leek, without a box. It looked kind of funny, but when I opened the blade I just had to smile, almost laughed even. Very cool.:thumbup::thumbup:

It was a blem 1660NUGE "Ted Nugent" Leek. Can't tell what's wrong with it. What ever it is is very slight.

What a fun little knife, thank you Thomas. This is one my wife even said I could give to her, since I won't be doing anything with it anyway.

why is it when i look at that leek all i can think of is " CAT SCRATCH FEVER!" :D great looking knives! :)

I picked up one of the blurs last week myself. I couldn't let one in CPM 154 get by me. I have almost a complete collection of blurs, so this one was a no brainer. Excellent knife, excellent steel. Plus Kershaws always on the mark heat treat.

It came with such a great edge I won't be sharpening it for a while though.

That Ted Nugent knife looks better in your pictures than it does in the ads too.

Congratulations on winning the Giveaway. Thomas is truly a class act as well as being really good at what he does. Joe

Hahaha, that first pic reminds me of why I like the term "Unrepentant Package Smashers" for the UPS acronym.
Nice knives!

Great knives. Looks like someone at UPS sat on your box at lunch.

Thanks. The box looks pretty bad, doesn't it?

Nice knives!

This is by far the most mangled box I've ever gotten from UPS. I thought he slammed on the brakes and little box was crushed by the rest of his load sliding in to it (or he stomped on it). Didn't damage the contents, so I'm happy.

Nice patch! :D

I couldn't figure out what was going on with the scales, but when I opened the blade and saw Ted Nugent, it made sense. And made me smile.

This is my 2nd Blur. My first was my first Kershaw. The AO and S30V hooked me on that one. This one seems even nicer.

The 1660NUGE is a fun little knife. Still can't figure out why its a blem.

Thomas has been exceptionally generous to me this year. I can't thank him enough.
