Nearly finished these two...they still need a final polish, sheaths and sharpening, but I thought I'd post them up anyway.
Basically a 9" frame handle bowie with Desert Ironwood and a 7" stub tang with African Blackwood.
Hoping to try out my new set of leather stamps when I make the sheaths.

Wow! Those are amazing. What steel? How thick?

Forgot to say, the steel is 1/4" 01...old school.
Please excuse the poor quality of the photos, these are just a few I done with my phone last night without a lightbox...mind you, even with a lightbox and a proper camera they usually look as if they've been taken blindfolded.:rolleyes:
Once I've got the leatherwork done, I'll post some decent(ish) shots.

Nice work as always, sir. Now do a another big one with the guard like the smaller one and you will have a the perfect hybrid. :D

I'm working on this one as well. Thought I might as well post it up in a 'work in progress' kind of way.
Loveless Stiff Horn pattern with jigged bone...obviously quite a way from finished!
