Well guys, i hate to keep subjecting you to pen pictures, but I feel like showing off again.;) ;)

I just finished these up yesterday. The first one is a 4 bar twist, counter twist, made out of c1095 and 15N20. Came out really nice, I think it is my favorite so far.

The second one is made out of cable damascus. Turned out nice too.

Thanks for looking and let me know if you are sickof seeing the pens.

are you kidding...........i have to keep repressing the urge to email you and buy one!!!!!!! :p

Very nice !! I don't see any obvious problems with inclusions etc . I just e-mailed the photo of the cable damascus to a friend who sells cable so he has an idea of a better use for cable than such things as skidding logs. LOL

Thanks guys.

Hey Tom, that 4 bar is available, I think it is time for you to give into your urges. ;)

Tomorrow I am going to resume work on my Viking dagger. With luck, I can get her done before I have to go back to work on 1/5/04. I have the core done and now need to do the egding and get it all welded. Should be interesting since I have never done that before.

Anyway, thanks for your replies, and Tom; I will be waiting for your call.;) :D

Editied to add: Check that out; I am half way to 1000 posts.

If Tom doesn't give in to his urges and buy that pen....I WILL!!!!!!

yeah. We're all tired of seeing pictures of your pens. WE would rather see them in person and have them in our shirt pockets to use and admire whenever we like. They are the greatest.

Sean, these pens are just georgeous. Someday I'd like to come around the lake and get a lesson on how you build those........

Hope you had a Merry...

I agree the twist is nice, but the cable really speaks to me...what a beauty! I agree...I think this warrants a visit to MI this new year...

Yeah, I put a coating on it. Right now I just use 3 or 4 coats clear. I am looking into a powder coat system too, I think that would be more durable. On my knives I use Briwax, but I doubt anybody would want that on a pen.

It is either that or figure out how to make SS Damascus. I tried a couple times, but the results were not too good.

Fitz and Pen, come on over! I could alsways use some extra help.;)

If any of you are in the area, feel free to give me a call or stop on by.

Wow, just found this thread. What a talent you have, wonderful!
