I made this set as a surprise gift for my uncle. This is my third set and I'm finally starting to get good at it. All the diamonds on these are super duper sharp and well defined. His are way better than the set I carry! D'oh!



I left the clip side smooth to change it up a bit plus it doesn't eat up pockets.



And I added some brass standoffs made from tubing. I made these really quickly to prove I could do it and they actually look terrible from every angle but this one so here they are hahaha I'll make better ones tomorrow.

I love the look. Reminds me of a 1911 grip everytime I see it! Brass standoffs out of tubing is a great idea!
 
They are beautiful man, definitely would be a large market for them. Lol I would know, I am a skyline nut
 
Very nice. Not sure what you dont like about the stand offs but you coul try using sandpaper to add some texture

What I meant by that was they aren't very neat/tidy. On the other side they're all rough and ugly and not the right width all the way around. I had to position them just right for the picture so they looked decent. The plan is to make a neater pair then polish them up shiny. :cool:
 
Wow great work. It looks awesome. Wood isnt my style but I sure can appreciate it and my old man would love something like that.
