My first completed knife since setting up shop in my new location. I first designed this one for use when trout fishing and was going to label it a bird/trout knife. However, I am wondering if it might be more apropriate to call it a something else. Bird/trout? Field knife? Boot knife? Comments welcome!

Blade: 3 3/4"
OAL: 8 3/4"
Steel: ATS-34
Handle: Green Linen Micarta

Call it either, but call it good looking! Very nice work, and I really like your design. It's a really nice in-between small game and field.

Nice....did you solder the bolsters on? Looks more like a everyday carry if you were in the bush 24 - 7.

Guess I'd call it backcountry backup or something???

Very nice. I think bird & trout is a good description for this one. Looks like a real nice user.

Thanks guys! BL, I didn't solder the bolsters. Instead, I just gave the bottoms of them a coating of epoxy and then pinned/peened them.
